           This optical probe with carrier frequency  38kHz  is used for local serial communication using infrared communication between static smart electricity meters (meters or other equipment) with optical interface on one side and a PC or HHU (Hand-Held Units) with USB2.0 interface on the other side. on the other. The converter/optical probe parameters fulfill all technical requirements on data transmission in accordance with the standard DL/T645-2007 (in the past DL/T645-1997) and the set of user's requirements . The converter/optical probe has a infrared transmit and a infrared receive diode. The optical probe is remote infrared, and the communication distance from the infrared of the kWh meter can reach 5m.Data is transferred via an infrared light using serial two-way communication.
